Location: Tuscaloosa, AL

Uniquely situated on the banks of the Black Warrior River, the 91-room Hotel Indigo Tuscaloosa Riverfront offers a distinctive stay just one mile from the heart of the University of Alabama campus. The hotel is also within walking distance of downtown Tuscaloosa’s entertainment district, the Riverwalk, and the Tuscaloosa Amphitheater.

The design is loosely inspired by Alabama’s rich history of steamboat transportation, creating a strong sense of place that connects the property to its riverfront setting.

Key amenities include a 3,000-square-foot full-service restaurant with exterior café-style seating, as well as a 1,300-square-foot fifth-floor lounge that opens onto a 2,500-square-foot rooftop terrace overlooking the Black Warrior River.

The hotel also features 800 square feet of flexible meeting space with direct access to the rooftop terrace, and a 700-square-foot fitness center located on the second floor.

The project is targeting LEED certification upon completion, underscoring its commitment to sustainable design and operations.
